Duo Competes at Sales World Cup

Two Hull College of Business students competed at the International Collegiate Sales Competition 2021 World Cup hosted by Florida State University in November.

Michael Sanders, president of the Professional Sales Club, and Mahalia Marin, vice president, participated in the virtual roleplay event, advancing to the wildcard round, as well as a speed selling event.

More than 75 universities participated in the annual event, which has been conducted virtually for the past two years.

“This competition is the ultimate measure of a university’s sales program’s focus on overall business revenue generating skills. We are extremely proud of their efforts in preparing for the competition and representing the Hull College of Business,” said Stacy Roberts, DBA, lecturer in management and marketing and faculty mentor for the team.

Professional Sales Club members will compete in Kennesaw State University’s National Collegiate Sales Competition in March.
