Hull College Holds In-Person Reception for MBA Students

The Hull College of Business said hello to its incoming cohort of MBA students, along with other MBA students who were unable to have a reception due to COVID, on Wed., August 4, in the Jaguar Student Activities Center Ballroom.

Approximately 40 students and their guests, along with some of our MBA faculty members attended the event which featured a catered meal and networking.

“Looking at people through screens for the last 18 months or so, it is nice to see everyone in person,” said Dean Richard Franza, Ph.D.

Franza said this is the largest cohort, 41 students, that the college has seen start the journey to a master’s degree in the Hull College.

What makes the Hull MBA experience special, Franza said, is the quality of the students, who learn as much from one another as the faculty. “You will learn a lot from the members of your cohort, and you will build a network,” he said.

The Hull MBA is targeted to working professionals which attracts leaders from the community in various industries. Franza said most of the accolades that the Hull College receives are based on the success of the MBA program.
